Sadrazamkoy is an area still un spoilt and relatively untouched and visitors to the area are astonished by the area's outstanding natural beauty. There are many rare breeds of birds in the region and Sadrazamkoy and its neighbor Kayalar are popular bird watching areas. The Besparmank mountain range begins its long stretch towards the east here with the mountains highest peak of 104 meters being close by at Selvili Tepe. Juniper trees populate the surrounding forest.
The mountains is some places along the coastline reach the edge of the cliffs providing some of the most stunning scenery on the island.
Villagers rely mainly on agriculture to support them, and life here remains at the same relaxed pace as it as done for hundreds of years.
whilst enjoying a peaceful location, the villages of Lapta and Alsancak are a short distance away and both villages are home to many fine restaurants and bars as well as having local supermarkets, butchers and patisseries. The popular resort of Kyrenia is a 25-minute drive away. Ercan airport is reachable in under an hour. All these factors make Sadrazamkoy the perfect base to explore the rest of the island.
