The municipal office is known as Belediye Dairesi. The senior official or Mayor is the Belediye Ba skani. All villages have their own elected senior official known as the Muhtar. The Muhtar reports to both the Belediye Baskani and the district officer who are responsible for dealing with all problems in his village.
