Historical Touristic Places of Kyrenia / 06-Aga Cafer Pasa Mosque

Just behind the Cordon Boulevard in Girne and parallel to this, in he street of Aga Cafer Pasa, the mosque of Aga Cafer Pasa is supposed to have been built during the Ottoman era. A cylindrical minaret with one balcony on a pedestal, made of cut stones, it ascends in the
northwest next to the mosque. Aga Cafer Pasa who served in the navy, had vast marital experience and gave his name to this mosque was the governor and lived in the years of 1500.
